Inspired by the women's suit jacket, I created new silhouettes using elements of the garment. By altering/opening weave patterns, the thick fabric takes on a new delicacy. Repeated elements like buttons, pockets, and extended sleeves bring dimension and flexibility to a usually rigid structure.
